    psycho 2011 WORLD CHAMPIONS!

I will say this, being at the NTA Show I had a blast. I can't say that about past NTA Shows nor would I. However, the board members were out talking to people instead of sitting in their rooms and we had tons of people that were gathering and BS'ing and just having a great time. I know there are problems and were problems. Some of them were handled great and some not so great. However, there were people that said damn it, I made a mistake. It was hard for them to do so but they did it and manned up. It really was overall a great show for me because I had so many friends there and as far as vendors go we had a FANTASTIC SHOW! The support, good words, help moving in and out of the supply room and just the over all comradery was FANTSASTIC! The talent was amazing that showed up to the show and there was a showdown of talent from the competitors! Knowing Mitch Webb personally and so many of the others that are involved in the NTA now, I truly believe that Harry and Fred's work is now going to be rewarded even though it cost them dearly because I think there are Board members, members and non members that see that the NTA can be saved and I think by trying to move on that they will be able to save it. However, if history ever repeats its self then surely the NTA as an organization would become a memory. So from this show forward I truly hope that the NTA is on track and headed for new heights. Not being one of the people accused of mishandling, stealing monies and whatever else, makes it easy for me and everyone else to say lets just move on for the sake of the NTA but I imagine that there are truly a ton of people that have been hurt and feel betrayed but I am glad to see so many of them that appear to be doing what I probably couldn't have done myself nor many of us could do. If I or we were one of the accused or one of the people on either side of the debate and problems, would we be able to do what they are doing, taking the high road for the sake of the NTA organization. Thank you to everyone that has done what they have for this organization from all sides for the benefit of our industry. Let's hope and pray that it does start to prosper again and that the past ends up exactly that, the past.

Excellent post Dan..... I will digress for a while because you said more than I ever could effectively.

  7. I have to say that the show was a great success!!! Had a great time and learned a lot with the awesome critiques.
    Looking forward to next year.
I feel that the board and leaders done a great job with it as s whole.
And its the members that it needs to help support and move it forward from here.
Mitch and the crew ( IMHO)
done better than most expected. I say keep it up and let's keep moving it forward.
