Just a reminder if you plan to attend the convention and need a hotel room, the reservation cut off date is this Friday....July 18th. Please make your hotel reservations by then to get the reduced room rate.

Just wanted to let everyone know we had a minor change in the show schedule. Tim Jordans' turkey seminar that was on Saturday morning has been moved to Friday afternoon from 3 -6 and the deer nose molding/casting seminar that was in that time slot will now be Saturday morning from 9 - 11.

There is still time to attend our show...even if you don't have a competition piece to bring...we have plenty of great seminars to sit in on....a bunch of great suppliers to stock up on supplies and save shipping plus our kick a$$ auction we always have.

Gene Smith will be painting a whitetail, Brian Banbury is mounting a duck, Kent Stryker will talk about form alterations & business, Paul Cales will be discussing his Pro-1 Products, Tim Martin will be putting together a waterfowl habitat then later mounting the black scoter that will go with it, Tim Jordan will be mounting a standing turkey, Kenny Carnahan & Brian Durham will cast/mold a deer nose and a children's seminar.

We will be having our annual Vendor Hospitality Friday evening from 6-8. Beverages and snacks will be served while you can mingle with the supplies and hopefully make their trip worthwhile. Please take advantage of their discounts and no shipping.

A group of us have worked really hard getting some top notch donations again this year. Besides the usual taxidermy related items we get from the great suppliers that support us....we have alot of really nice non-taxidermy items. Bass Pro donated a youth bow plus a boys and girls fishing set, a pair of Irish Setter Boots, a day in the shop with Vincent Fleming (worth attending the show just for that), National Aquarium tickets, Bowie Baysox tickets, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame tickets, several wine baskets, a smoker and plenty more. We will have several raffles to get in on as well. Liquid Illusion is offering a free camo gun dipping that we will be raffling off, our 50/50, gift basket raffle and an H & R 20 gauge slug gun. We'll also have a silent auction going with some nice items including a gift card tree loaded with gift cards from restaurants and stores.

Don't forget we have our new Eastern Regional Champion awards this year.
