Different style of dead mount. A picture I took after a hunt a few years ago inspired this one.

Some nice birds this week, great work Norris. That bwt is a superb specimen, tough to see them that mature! I love the top pintail!

Some nice mounts. Jay is that a p remade habitat? I've been looking for some barbed wire similar to the stuff on yours.

 

Second Merganser attempt. There was gonna be a hen to be mounted with it....but it didn't make it.: so I stuck a crawfish there until the guy gets one.

Great stuff this week. Duck, those scaps on that Pintail look painted! Awesome!

No its crafted by me. I have dozens of molds for all kinds of casts, Posts, horns, driftwood, rocks. the base is one of North Woods Woodworking. The barb wire was brought in by the client, antique from his grandfather. I have only seen it on sample boards but I am going to watch for it now! The base is a little big for 1 bird but he plans to add to it this year.

 

Cool looking saw bill with the crawfish, I Like it!! Great job!!
