this is by far the best recipe for play-dough that I have tried and worked great for bedding for me

    3 cups flour
    1 tbl cream of tarter
    2 tbl veg oil
    3 cups water
    1 1/2 cups sea salt

put in pot and cook on medium heat for 15mins stirring constantly until it becomes to think to stir, take off heat and put on parchment paper and kneed until it feels cool

doing the recipe a couple of times makes quite a bit and cheap but keep flour on hand when working with it as any moisture cause it to be very gooy and messy.

Sounds like a great idea. Have you had any problems with model when you finish and store the play-dough bedding???
