    dnr will be removing nesting pairs to reduce damage to fisheries

    they are on the unprotected list in Minnesota don't know what this means but the dnr has been killing tons of them...google unprotected bird list in minnesota

    and they killed of hundreds [cormorants]a year or so ago on Erie ,probably threw them all away too.

    An Only in California, the old bay bridge was to be torn down but cormmarants nest on it and had to be relocated costing millions in cost and delays. They are like pugeons with the mess they make.
    They hang out at the salmon and steelhead hatchery here and when they make releases they gorge on the smolts. I'd love to be down there with a shotgun.

    Mn statute reads" unprotected animals and birds may be taken at any time by any means except with art lights..." and they list cormorants as unprotected.....

    hahaha... Smoked, fried, pickled... No way I can eat that. Seriously I have tried long time ago:)
