This animal skull was recently discovered by a co-worker's family. It was found in a forested area near a small lake in western Oregon. It measures 8" long and 4.5" wide. Does anyone happen to know what kind of animal it is..? (I'm sorry the second photo is a bit blurred). Thanks for your help..!

...yea its a dog..it can't possibly a coyote..yotes dont have wide zygomatic arcs and the frontal lobe is more protruded or more prominent something like that and its not a wolf either...its small and looks like it came from a mature animal..adult wolves are longer than 8 inches sometimes reaching 12 inches or bigger..
