Hunting pics!!!

Got this 7.5 y/o in Alva Oklahoma hunting. We hunt every year there with Dustin Earnest and Whitehorse Creek Outfitters. The deer are still chasing and Dustin has a few openings this week if anyone wants a last minute hunt. Gun season starts next Saturday. Randy saw 3 deer over 150, but couldn't get shots.

 

Friday the 13th was an unlucky day for this buck

 

Filled my tag with a small 3x4 today. I skinned him for life-sized on the spot, and game bagged the meat. When I brought the first two bags to the bottom of the drainage, I heard a rifle shot from the adjacent property. I saw a small WT doe exiting the creek bottom. When I got back to the remaining bags, I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and watched as a 5x5 whitetail trotted past my game bags in the bottom heading for the hills. I'll get him next year.
