Putting Envirotex on top of Polytranspar Gloss

    A customer wants his fish wetter.. :p..I did this fish 6 mos. ago w/ Poly. Gloss .... I did his friends fish last week w/ enviro. & it is a wetter look ...They're having a p^ss*&% contest... So, can I go over Ploy. gloss with envirotex without it melting...Thanks

    It might be wise to check with WASCO and get their opinion.........hopefully Bob Williamson's.

  3. That would be your best bet.....have no idea what might happen if ya apply it over the clear.

    Why not another coat or two of the same product? ??? ??? ???

  6. Western brand clear coat, price is about $105.00 per gallon including hardner but two coats of gloss will really look wet. Envirotex you loose scale detail.

    Just my opinion, but I would not waste my money on envirotex for a fish gloss. use it for habitat, but not fish gloss. You have those nasty stringy drip off the back of the fish with ETex.

    But to each his own.
