GARY HEAVEN

Post what his user name is on here and his address/phone number so I can put on my permanent "Do not deal with list."

 

I just talked to Gary a couple weeks ago.he has always been a great guy and even drove all the way out here to long island to hunt sea ducks with me.im shocked to hear this.he has done work for me and a few of my friends and was always more then professional.i even drove out to him last yr with my buddy to pick up our mounts personally and he didnt even charge us what we owed.hes a very nice and fair guy.i dont have a goverment job im just a regular ol laborer.maybe you shouldnt of sent them if you didnt have the money.anyone i know who pays for taxidermy all pay out of our savings.are we supposed to feel bad for you because you had to use your savings account.thats silly.i will let him know about this post .i hope things work out for you man.i feel there's got to be More to the story.im shocked to hear this.like I said I hope things work out .

 

I also have had business with Gary (I'm from MO) and he was great to deal with and friendly. I do know that some people have had bad dealings with various people on here but for me Gary was top notch to deal with and I have no problems. One thing is there is always two sides to every story. So because I have not had business with you and I have with Gary....well I'll stick with Gary.

 

The story I got was your birds were there for yrs and now you want to pay and get them.dont work like that.once a mount is completed you have a x amount of time and they become property of the shop.if there birds that can legally be sold they get sold to recoup loses.the ones that can't be sold either become a display of get ripped apart and supplies used for a later date.


Ps .unless you have something in writing or a contract your pissing in the wind.sorry you had a bad dealings but the hundreds of birds Gary does I don't think bashing him here is going to help.he will still continue to get clients who pay upfront with there personal savings account.sorry if I offend you but I'm Garys friend and since he hasn't replied I figured I would.dont take it personal just sticking up for a man who has always done me great services time after time.

 

All i can say is call him again leave a message and maybe you guys can work it out.i do find it weird he won't acknowledge you though.hopefully he gets back to you and still has your birds.but to be honest I doubt any taxidermist would keep a clients finished mount for yrs.i hope it works out for you.nothibg personal man ,hope you have no hard feelings.
