The bass looks good Jimmy, I get that reverse curve request pretty frequently, as of late. How about you? I'm glad I learned how to carve.

Holy crap that chrome brown is INSANE!!!!

And this is the first skinmount request for a reverse curve I've ever had. I carved this one straight out of a Mckenzie box and mounted it . LOL. Its a Sexton bass body , just mounted as a reverse curve. I never carve my bass unless it's a closed mouth.

Yes that brown is gorgeous AnglingArtisan.
Jimmy, I guess that's what I get for having some mounted that way in my showroom.

Trapper2016 Thanks for this awesome forum!

Well i finished up my frist Channel Catfish replica using Rick's DVD. Its a great DVD, i just wish i could do it justice. I used a bullhead ARP replica as it was really all i could afford and was small, so i figured i would give it a shot. I like the body color, but the fins gave me alot of trouble. I never could get them too look like rick does. But i never seem to do good with fins. This is my 2nd full size replica, and its for me, so I am happy with it as a cool sit around. And was good practice if i should ever decide to do another one. This is also the frist fish that i painted my own eyes with, and i liked the turn out. Thanks for the DVD's Rick!! They make a novice like me be able to turn out something that looks halfway decent.
