Gundog sculpture

    Thank u so much!this can be called as my 5 th sculpture actually.need more experinces and any critques can be useful!hope healing of broken leg lasts much time to do more sculpts! Lololol ;D

    Sure Babak! I'll have to upload it when I am done, and your most recent sculpture looks fantastic as well! You are doing great for only your 5th :D I did not have teachers or instruction when I first started in sculpture either, but you are already lightyears ahead of where I was haha

    cant wait to see your works...oh man,although this is my 5th,but I study anatomy for 25 yrs and I was drawing,sketching animals for yrs and doing taxidermy as wel[​IMG]

    Yeah,i agree! i will do it for sure! adjusting my wild goat yet and then paint it correctly! and then let me think about a wild boar and a hourse yet!and then a black or golden labrador retriever !

    Good to see you back on the net my friend.id like to see a yellow Labrador.if you ever make any you would think you would want to sell let me know I'd be honored to have own.keep up the good work my friend

    Hi bryan,me too,glad to see you !na not really i have not done yet,i will give it a try maybe next time.life is too busy for me after i get heal of my broken leg! The problem is that i make this sculpts by a very loose material,which is not movable!it needs to be casted and molded ,thats not easy ,but ....i will give a chance for myself to try it but need time.sincerely

    Some neat stuff Babak! Just curious, do you ever have any issues with the clay cracking while drying in some of the thicker spots?

    thank you my friend for nice comment and compliments.as your reply I should say that this kind of clay is totally different,its oil based and never hardening.I heat them to loosening and in the normal tempreture its a lil bit hard,I hatdened it by acrylic colors painting.
