Morning guys. Does anyone have any in/around the mouth pics of largemouth. Also the gills from looking inside. I checked the references but don't see what I like. I just went and picked up an ARP blank. Also any suggestions on when to paint the mouth/gill. Thanks

Theres a great book that McKenzie sells. It shows you how to do all the finish work on fish. There are some great shots on inside the mouth of a bass. I think it is called fish finishing. The cover looks like this......

With the book I use, it shows painting the mouth as the last step before glossing the fish, bu I like to do it first, that way if I do have any overspray, I don't have to worry about ruining my outside paint job. Don't know if that's what you were looking for, but that's the way I like to do it. Saw that you got an ARP repro...those are nice, can't wait to see your pics.

That's Tom Sexton's book..It's a must for beginner to any level & also he's DVD A-Z for LM Bass..He has step by step in both...Both are well worth the money..
