Looking for a yellow perch replica that has good detail. 13.5" x 8". Anyone have a blank that meets that size?

    Thanks,
    RW

i wish i knew how to do fish i think i might take some classes i really wish i had a mount of my perch that i caught in the summer of 2015 it was 13.2 inches long and it was 2.1 pounds looking back at it i don't even know what i did with the picture of it

  3. Search in the for sale section. There's a guy that goes by 'Dondi' on here that was selling some (can't remember the length he had for sure) around that size. I've ordered from him in the past and they're awesome, and he was great to deal with! Good luck.

You can check with Tyler Erickson Top Notch Taxidermy he has some really nice perch blanks that don't require a lot of prep work. Don't know the sizes he has, he is in South Dakota

13.2 inches and 2.1 pounds?! The perch I raise that I harvest full of eggs don't even get to 2 pounds until they reach about 14 1/2 inches. Are you sure it was that heavy?

I have a nice mold / cast shown below that might work for you. .
I also have a 14 1/4" heavy yellow perch blank as well.

No worries. Just found it unusual. But never say never in nature!
