What would be best to build the crusty bosses back on a banteng?

  2. I would build them using a picture to give a good representation of what they actually looked like when it was taken, do not use pictures of other Banteng....the bosses are never the same on different animals. . I have used sculp all or fiberglass resin mixed to a very thick consistency using Hi Fiber. Sculp all will give you a bit more working time and produce a better product. Use the fiberglass mixture to use on soft boss Cape Buffalo, smooth the surface with a chip brush lightly moistened with Acetone or Lacquer Thinner. WEAR PROTECTIVE MASK AND EYEWEARD WITH THE FIBERGLASS RESIN, and don't forget the catalyst.

What would you use on this one?

George The older I get, the better I was.

I was always too lazy. I covered them with sculptall and then used a pieces of Berber and high/low carpet to press into the sculptal.

  5. I would use the fiberglass putty without a doubt. I would probably use clay to make the primary buildup causing less use of the putty............and use a short chip brush to bring out the texture..........don't forget to use the catalyst and use acetone or lacquer thinner to make a smoother surface with the brush. The acetone and fiberglass putty will cause the putty not stick to the brush
