Form alteration?

    I'm sure it's been covered I just came find it so don't bash me too bad. I needabout an inch to an inch and a half taken out of the girth of the neck on this form. I'm just wondering what the best way would be to do this? Any help would be great

  2. Rasp it down then hit it with some 80 grit sand paper. Make sure you stretch your hide before you test fit, you may not have to alter at all.

    I would sawsall off the swell and see where you're at

    Thats a strange shaped neck if I ever saw one, whats with the bloated lower neck area. Maybe its just the pic. What animal is that?

    Yes it is an axis. Thanks everyone for the replies. What I ended up doing was cutting the head off then the neck and taking an inch out to keep the curvature and details in the form. I probably did it the hardest way possible, I've never really done any alterations to forms before but I think it turned out good. Will post pics when he's all done

    That works best.. I usually just shave down the swell images it's only an inch or so..
