hooded merganser help

    Hello yall,
    Been a while since I've posted, I'm attempting a nice hooded swimming mount and have a few questions. I am using a Shane Smith body, never used one before n don't quite get or see where u insert the get at, like general region? Also just wanna know what yall do to keep the hood nice n fanned out? All the different techniques.

    pj, did you keep the body and transfer your points of reference? Matt Smith in TX sells a heck of a DVD on a hooded merganser

    X2 ...and there's a video of Shane mounting a duck with his bird bodies on the McKenzie website! He shows exactly how to do it! I started using them last fall and I love them!
