I had an excellent wolverine for you awhile back; jumbo, white diamond; had it dorsal skinned the way you asked. Had a reasonable price of $575, shown plainly in the ad up front, based on what I had to pay to get the animal. Held it for you for WEEKS while you came up with the money. Then, when you were finally ready to buy, you complained about the price saying “I have never paid that much for a wolverine in my life”. I did not and would not do business with you again because, as you say: “too many slow ass people and crooks”

Tanned wolverine strips for ruffs sell for $400 why anyone would sell a taxidermy quality wolverine pelt for less than 5-600 is beyond me. Ice your price is very reasonable.

I got 7 of em, all case skinned, everything turned, split, tanned. 650-750 ea. I won’t sell one for less than 650 unless it’s a small female then it’s 600

I do not give a shit how many you have . I have 6 myself but none will fit the manikin . That's like when I asked for moose capes . You had 6 of them . But when I wanted them they all belonged to customers. I would have bought all of them. I did buy some from Jim Beenkin that actually had the capes. If you do not have what a person asks for just stay away from their post

Their dry tanned, how am I suppose to know what will fit your form. I usually get the hides, soak up and measure then order the forms.

I got lots of moose capes, but again I’m not selling a tanned moose cape for 600 bucks. Come shoot one, spend 6 hours turning and glesh No it then a 375 tanning bill to get it tanned.

Don’t make it worse Dave by making crap up! I have no reason to lie, having sold you many nice wolverine; you just thought you could play me. Part of that “slow ass people and crooks” crowd.

I’ve bought from Hoytman. Always got what I paid for. Looks like I’m not the only one who’s had bad dealings with you, Dave. Don’t MAKE me drag out the original ad!

The last 2 wolverines I bought from you were NOT as big as advertised is why I could not force myself to buy that little one from you . One you sent me was cut full of holes from you attempting to skin it . The only thing I think I ever bought from Hoytman was a moose cape that fell apart taking it out of the tub . It was a piece of crap and He took care of that right away . from then on I only buy wet tanned moose capes or salted capes . Jim Beenkin is a great taxidermist and when you buy from Him you can be sure its always bigger and better than He describes it . I think I gave Him $875 for the last wet tanned moose I got from Him no problem. It was ready to mount right out of the bag . He even had removed ear cartilage . I do not expect to buy somebody elses problems . Dian the few things I bought from you I just bit my lip and went on. Hoytman I normally since your moose cape deal I buy wet tanned hides or Imake people soak them up and measure if they want to sell to me . If you call The Wildlife Gallery and ask for Scott or Dave they will tell you I usually have a $15,000 - 20,000 a year tanning bill . Everything is on a 30 day turn around . We skin hundreds of hides here each winter. Every single hide and carcuss is logged in and measurements recorded the minute it is off the carcuss

    I
do not pay $600 I pay $850 for a wet tanned moose cape that will go 40"+.
I did buy one from you for $600 and it was a piece of shit and fell apart coming out of the tub after only being in the water 10 minutes . You are why I do not buy dry tanned hides but I never said anything on here because you took care of it after a couple weeks went buy . I have talked to several others that you have sold old tans too with the same problem

Sure. That’s why you had me hold the wolverine until you could supposedly afford to pay. That is why, after buying tiny wolverines full of holes, you asked for special order of dorsal skinned. Just for you. I am going to exit this conversation and we can continue in the “buyers and sellers” section if you want. I just didn’t want anyone else seeing your request for wolverines and wasting their time and effort on you.
