I wanna make one of those armadillo armour baskets. However I'm having trouble cleaning out the tail armour. I don't want to damage or remove it. Anyone have any tips or tricks for cleaning it out?

  2. A good pair if cutters and cut the cross bone out. I use red handle cutters from Harbor Freight. As you cut each piece out then cut the tail ring off. Pickle it and then take a Dremal and grind the inside of each ring while damp. The reassemble and let dry. Oh on the tip you will need a sharp drill bit to drill that portion out.
