Hello to everyone. I am at the beginning of a lion project, but I dont do too many lions so I have a few questions and I was wanting to be steered in the right direction. the form I have is a MTL-1151L standing uphill, left turn from HQ. For the first time most of the skin measurements are very close to the forms measurements. the skin belly circumference is 28 and the total length is 63 . now the forms measurements are belly circ. - 30 and total length 51. after test fitting I found out that the arms, legs, chest , neck, belly are good and easy to deal with... NOW my concerns here are the large difference in total length, and also my skin was overlapping some in between the legs / abdomen.

this pose already has the cat stretched out,so Im not sure how to deal with the difference in total length without giving it a longer appearance or making it look like a weenie cat. whats the best course of action?

also how is the best way to add a smaller amount of girth in the abdomen where my skin was overlapping? or is this common due to loose skin??

well Thank You in advance to anyone willing to read this . :)

I would start by getting that skin stretched for width and not length. My guess is the girth will need to be adjusted on the form. That will eat up some of that length as will getting the rump and chest mounted. If I needed more girth it would be adding some height rather then width to begin with. That ought to get you started.

yes , you need to stretch skins sideways before you order your manikin 68 inch leagnth is way out of the ballpark
