Okay, great, thanks! I have a few tiny holes in one ear, and bullet holes that need repairing

Yes, you can use acetone to clean up the eyes. Looks good from what I can tell. Might just be the picture but hair line between the nose up between the eyes looks like it may be a little off. May want to double check that and adjust if its off and still wet enough to move. Cant really see the eye set in those pics. Overall looks good to me. This is your first right?

Yes, my first! The hair is a bit off... he had a huge scar between his left eye and ear, and I decided to leave it and hide with hair. If I was to cut it out, and stitch, I would have lost probably an inch if hide. Plus, he had 3 bullet holes all in the same area, so I did my best to patch him up without losing too much.

Congrats, you are well on your way. Now, I am no expert by any means, I am still a beginner myself. But from what I see, you may want to work the eyes some more. The symmetry looks a little off. Work the bottom lid of the right eye (first picture). It looks like the back half of the lid should come down a little bit more. You may also try tucking the lids in a little closer to the eye if you still can. Again, pretty good for a first in my opinion.

I see where you're saying, I messed with it for 2 hours yesterday lol, but I will try again! He is looking left, so it's hard to see both eyes at the same time lol. How did you secure the mount to the knothole?

    Thank you!

I drilled two holes in the knothole and secured the form using two coarse thread 2" screws. If it doesn't feel secure enough to you, you can always add some hot glue behind it and then screw it.
