I just finished my first skull cleaning project. Other than missing a couple pieces from buzzards that got to it while macerating, I am happy with the with the results. This is my stepdaughters first deer from this past season. Displayed on a piece of the back hide from her 20200621_201324.jpg deer inside a handmade frame.

That came out very well. I'm sure she is thrilled. I always wondered why I never had buzzards (vultures) around my place when stuff was working outside. We do have them here. As for the frontal nasal bones, you could get another set from a similar sized skull and probably make a decent repair/replacement. Yes, those do come loose fairly easily.
