Most of my paints are Lifetone lacquers. I have a few that are Polytranspar and everytime I shake them to mix them up they leak badly out of the thread area. Does this happen a lot or do I need to get some different caps for my bottles?

Lol yep I just use some electric tape around the threaded end and shout for joy no more abstract paint jobs on myself

I have a small battery operated paint stirrer I bought from Badger. Its awesome. I use it every day.

Yea Frank, It's very frustrating to grab one, shake it a little, and have paint all over the outside of the bottle!

The paint mixer is well worth it

My biggest complaint with Polytranspar is with the new cap. They had flip tops before and those worked as well as anything, but now the whole top lifts and breaks off. Wish they would go back to the flip tops. Lifetone caps are better in my opinion but I like transpar lacquer better.

I just ordered some Lifetone and Polytranspar Lacquers today. I hope the lids don't give me too much trouble leaking on the Polytranspars. I guess I need to invest in a small mixer.
