    So here is one of those birds that at first you think is sweet but then..... you thaw it and skin it!
    Wings were hit very hard, no bones left. Head has two big ole holes in it. Right in the crest too. All in all it turned out ok but it has a show side for sure.

    It was a pen raised bird to boot so small chipped wings, fat belly and chipped tail

    Ok good news with my Blue-eared pheasant I had done a while ago. I was able to get rid of the smell. He smells like nothing now! I guess I”ll move on to painting him next! I post pictures after. I had recently finished a crappie 2 days ago. He turned out amazing! Got to paint him too, but I’ll leave him for last.

    bears where are you getting your woodys? older drakes are some of the last to leave in east central minnesota as long as rivers are open... and some very nice prime birds along with hoody whistler and gw

    Customers harvest them all over the state but mainly west side. The majority are early harvests, regardless of where. I have seen them in NW MN in November but I am in deer mode by that time myself and think most others are as well.

    Here's an African grey parrot with a plucking problem I finished on Tuesday. (Will cut the wire when he fully dry)
