    This was a special bird for me to work on. I was with my wife and daughter this spring when my 13year old daughter harvested this gorgeous bird.

    Wow Cole, you really nailed that head! Nothing wrong with the bird either but that head is something now!

    Yes, I molded and casted the may apples, as well as the morels. The head is a lot of airbrush w/ some pan pastels used as well.

    Haha, John Bellucci called me an amateur in one of his profanity laced tirades several years ago, so I obliged with a really good avatar and quote "amateur taxidermist". Ken Edwards made me change the avatar though. :(
