Trigger warning for those of a sensitive nature ... just don't.

I assume hit by a car? But this buck was first seen Sept 27 and filmed again on Oct 18th. How can this poor thing even be alive? Will be the source of a pile of bones in the woods at some point and I would hope soon. Maybe someone can legally shoot it to put it down? I don't see this as survivable.

Unbelievable how tuff these animals are... I think I read on another site that this was caused by a tractor combine, but I'm not real sure.

Ok. I didn't see that post and didn't see any real good category for it. Didn't seem to even fit "Current Events". Figured bone folks already had a handle on nasty looking things. I tend to agree with the combine theory. Really sad to see this. I can't understand why it didn't die from this. I've seen broken legs and other flesh wounds but never anything like this.

No worries it is very sad and I really didn’t know where to put it either, it’s all good

I don't think it's been long since that deer was injured. It will die a painful death from peritonitis...very sad. Maybe someone will be able to dispatch him.
