    Female spruce grouse $20
    Willow ptarmigan $25
    Male rock ptarmigan $30
    Female rock ptarmigan $25
(all ptarmigan are in winter plumage).

    shipping: 2-4 birds $20
    5-7 birds $30

Care taken to ensure birds are good quality for Taxidermy. Birds that are busted up are not processed for Taxidermy. In the field mouth is plugged to prevent blood contamination. Bird is then rolled in paper towels to prevent damage to feathers and absorb any blood. For shipping the breast meat is filleted out through an incision in the middle of the breast. Bird is rolled in paper towels and then cellophane and finally put in a gallon freezer bag. The birds are shipped in an insulated box through usps priority mail. Box is shipped on Monday and generally arrives Thursday or Friday.

Very interested in getting a couple of male spruce grouse-- are they still available?
