It has a built in plastic hanger that failed.

McKenzie used to have them installed on many of their forms.

Yep that’s a McKenzie 6500 series , yea they had a lot of them breaking , and is why they stopped using them and now give you a metal one with each form

It doesn't say Mackenzie on the back. It says granite and Fremont on the UPC sticker.

What years did McKenzie make those forms with the plastic hangers? I used a lot of their forms, on and off, over the years and don't remember them.

They haven't been using those hangers for maybe 10 years now. Mckenzie only had them for about 3 years. They were junk.

I've been using the 6500s for about 10 plus years now. How and when did you come about using this form with a plastic hanger? Sorry about your mishap with that deer. Maybe, they'll compensate you, if you call and complain? Good luck

It wasn’t just the 6500 series they put them in , the 4000 series and I believe the 8600 had them close to 20 years ago or so , as stated they only kept them for a few years and had so much issues, I remember them sending out a memo telling you about the problem and if you called them with a count on how many forms you had they would send you hangers to put on also

Its not my mount. It belongs to the daughter of a friend of mine. I'm repairing it for them.

Mckenzie would be quite far down the list of a good deer form
