Andrea Huntley-freeze Dry By C & Co

  1. If anyone knows and or corresponds with Andrea could you please have her either return by phone calls, text messages, IMessages or e-mails. My patients have worn thin- I've been cordial, professional and have delayed making a post on this forum for some time. She has left me no choice since I'm in a different state

    I dealt with the ____, she is a useless POS. Ruined some of my customers fawns. She talked so professional, thought she was nice to deal with. Gave her a try and wish I never did. When I told her how bad the fawns were she got very mad and offensive. She said she never had complaints. She basically said this issue was my fault not hers.
     

  3. Anyone near by her place of business that has any recommendations of how to contact her would be much appreciated. I have spoken to the Michigan district 4 head warden earlier this week to go over my situation. As I had figured there is not much they can do if everything is legit on her end. The owl has been in her possession since October of 2019 where it was originally a 6 month lead time. That turned into 1 year which I was ok with which than was promised it would be a couple more months still in the freezer. Well, we are creeping up on 2 years for a protected species that actually is for one of the nature centers run by the state of Wisconsin on top of she has my $200 deposit. You'd think I would have gotten her attention when alerting her that the state of Wisconsin sent me a letter asking when this order would be closed out from their financial department. Her constant lies and ignoring of customers is not tolerable as I have been in contact with two other taxidermist that are going through the same problem with her. What's strange is everything before this order was excellent quality and lead times where acceptable.

    Every time I did get a hold of her she said sorry I was surfing or on the beach. I guess she has screwed so many she took an early retirement.

    I do know she went through a divorce end of 19 begining of 2020. The. we had a mandatory 3 month shut down.
    Me personally my lead times got wayyy stretched out from last year. Shut down, supply chain hold ups, got covid, got pneumonia afterwards, for me you can pretty much wipe 6-7 months of 2020 of the map. But I’m not going out and doing fun shit in the mean time. I work a reg job and do fish work nights and weeks to the tune of 90+ hours a week. Do I know her situation no. Just saying lots of things happened to lots of folks last year.

    Yea that’s true but you don’t stop communications , you talk you explain, you don’t ignore.
     
  7. The irony of this all is that I was going through a divorce at the same time she was so we had a common worldly occurrence that we actually shared numerous messages back and forth regarding. What 13 point stated above is spot on- this is completely unacceptable not to mention she has stolen $200 and my customer's bird. If I lived near her this would be handled differently!

  8. At one point a figured out who her boyfriend was on FB and pinged him through messenger to tell her to get back to me. He did and the woman has the balls to bite my head off for going through him.

    THAT'S EXACTLY THE WAY SHE IS, IROGANT ISN'T ALL THAT SHOULD BE SAID ABOUT HER.
     
  10. Test messages sent (after being told not to use FB messenger as she no longer uses and only text) with no replies on Oct 7 2020, Oct. 14 2020, Dec 28 2020, Feb 15 2021, Feb 23 2021, April 8 2021, July 5 2021
     
  11. Not to mention the countless v mail messages left and e-mails. My next call will be to her local law enforcement agency. Is there anyone on this site that sits on the Michigan Taxidermy Association board that can prod her to take some action?

  13. Well just when you thought things could not get worse. Early this week I received the typical automated email from her system stating I have a shipment coming along with a second e-mail showing a refund for half the total (wow she actually feels bad and not charging me the second half of the balance) which I can only assume it's the finished owl since she told me numerous times it was in the freezer-this is when I should have known better to get my hopes up. Package being sent 2nd air to arrive on Thursday and requires a signature which I'm thinking no big deal if I'm not around as I'll just go down to the post office to pick up. While at work I check the tracking and see they tried to deliver it. Friday I was out of town on business so had no chance to get to the post office. Low and behold I grab the package Saturday morning as soon as the post office opened and to my wonderful surprise, she sent back the owl in the green state with the habitat I supplied in a styrofoam box with no ice packs. Well ain't that just fantastic-so now I have a protected species for my nature center that is not only 2 years old since invoiced but I have a thawed out stinking carcass that is going in the garbage.

    Great job communicating again Andrea-your a real class act. I'm a firm believer that everything in life comes around-you'll get yours someday!

    I greatly feel sorry for anyone that has work in her shop and word to the wise of anyone else contemplating using her. If this thread doesn't open your eyes to this woman's incredibly terrible business manors, not sure what will

    That totally sucks , I’d be calling BBB , states attorney for her area . Fish and wildlife, I’d go out of my way to make her life and Business a living hell for her .
     
  15. I would contact U S Fish and Wildlife Service see if they could help and I am with 13 pts it definitely sucks !

    She is holding true to her 4 letter name "C___", one of the biggest POS I have dealt with.
    Your lucky you got you rotten owl back, you got it back because it was an owl, every one else with turkey heads, birds, small animals etc will never see them.
     
  17. I started to populate the BBB information on line yesterday. Call to US fish and game will be next on the list

    Also call the taxidermist association for her area talk to the president, let them know that she is not a person of her word and what you have gone thru . This way they will never recommend her if they are called .

  19. Just communicated with president of MI tax. association. Old news to him about her issues-they are very aware. She's no longer a member however, he's going to speak to their local conservation officer

    There ya go , not sure if she holds a license but that be my next call , feds and state
