I ordered a blank from them in June and haven't received it yet. I checked on it a couple of weeks ago and they told me it would be out in 3 or 4 days. Still nothing. Anyone have any dealings with them good or bad? This is the first thing I've ordered from them, so maybe I'm not patient enough, IDK.

I visited with them at different taxidermy shows. Their representatives are really great people. Their product is top notch. There is a delay in just about everything right now...Covid, Labor Shortages, and the China connection. I believe they will treat you right. Keep us posted!

I don’t order from LCR any longer as their blanks are what I would consider junk. However last I knew they were around 12- 14 weeks. Material cost increases and worker shortages, etc have done a number on suppliers. I actually just called mckenzie for a blank and for the first time ever on a arp line blank I got a lead time.
Ive waited over 10 months for blanks before ( not a lcr). If the blank is good it’s worth the wait! After last year it just kinda is what it is. One day you can get a product and the next you have no clue when your going to see it again.

    I ordered pre-covid...took close to 3 months.
They did state 12-14 weeks...so they were "on target".

Quality seemed decent, for the price (I got 2 Kings). I did see better quality out there...but they were above my budget!

I ordered a 52" musky repro through Matuska (it was actually $10 cheaper than getting it direct) and was very pleased with the quality. This was in like April this year. I had some questions on assembly and spoke with a lake country employee who was very helpful. Matuska said allow 10 wks for delivery, I got it like 9 wks 5 days later so it was, like others have said, on target. I am about to order a few LM and musky repro heads fins and gills ...

8.75 per inch + shipping for garbage? I don’t get where the value comes in?

Well, I thought something was fishy ( pardon the pun). They told me 10 days ago that it was to be shipped that day. Usually 3 days here from anywhere in the U.S. Well, I asked for a tracking number and didn't get one until today. They gave me the number and said " It shows that it was delivered today to your front porch". Well, I don't have a front porch! Anyway, my wife and I were both home and we have Ring cameras all around the house. No one from UPS was at or near my house today! I know that delivery problems can occur, and, delivery was not the fault of Lake Country, but it sure does seem a little odd that I just got the tracking number on the day that it was " supposedly delivered ". Usually, tracking shows your package moving from city to city on it's way to the destination. I don't know why they didn't get me a tracking number right off. IDK, possibly just delivered to wrong address? Anyhow, I called Lake Country and they are checking on it, and, filed a claim with UPS. Hopefully, I will get my money refunded, or maybe the replica will show up?

Are there some things that many taxidermists could find wrong with LCR blanks, sure but I can say that most end customers will not. I use their blanks, when I can, and fix anything that I have to but I have had to do so with other blanks I've ordered as well. Maybe the issues you have had are with cold water fish, which I have not had to order any of those from them?

Their cold water stuff is brutal.
Everything that has to be fixed is just money not being made. And the resculpting work that gets done on many of the heads is terrible same with much of the scale re carving. Same with their fins. Just to many pulls from molds that have been poorly reworked.

OK I suspected as much. I'll look elsewhere first then when I need a cold water fish blank. I order "Ready to paint" and that is sometimes BS but most often I just need to maybe draw in some scales on the seam line or where they apoxy the fins in. I've got a walleye and pike from them coming up, at a glance they looked pretty decent but have not actually started work on them, just opened boxes and glanced at them.

Ive had packages show delivery attempted from the post office before and have actually watched them drive right by my house a few minutes before receiving the notification.

UPS contacted me today. The fish blank was delivered to the wrong address. Apparently LCR used an address I had 7 or 8 years ago, even though I put my current address on this order.!? Apparently, UPS somehow, got the package back and, It'll be delivered tomorrow! I'm no expert on fish blanks, but hopefully, it'll look pretty good.
