I'm looking for some advise on a new fleshing machine!

I've been using the Quebec Lite for the last 20 years and I'm looking to purchase a new machine.

What current machine in the market would you recommend? Pros/Cons!

    Thank you!

I’ve had my eager beaver over 20 and it’s a commercial machine along with that raw hide are some of the industry’s best!
There are no pros or cons on these machines as you can shave rabbits to elephant on them. It’s learning the machine and how to tune it.
The blades I use are tanner cut blades as their way better imo to work on. Small lips easy to keep an edge. Only issue hit a bullet and you probably ruined it lol.
Some of the best blades on the market are found at https://fleshingmachines.com/fleshing-machine-blade-grinding/ many tanneries use him for his experience in grinding blades

What are the perks of a stand up machine vs the table mount?

I've always had a table mount! Any advice or advantage to having the stand alone style machine?

I have a Dakota Pro and I like that i can adjust the guards to where its almost impossible to cut thin hide. Yeah you can just tune the lip when you are really experienced, but that takes many years. I like the small lip like Frank said too. I use to get them from HQ which were I believe from Carolina Fur dressing but you can't get them there anymore, so i am gonna try what Franks using.
I custom made my table so I am not leaning over hurting my back. I can get in close in more of an upright position, ,.
I had the same flesher you had and it was a night to day difference when I went to Dakota pro matched with the small lip blades.
