Bird Wings?

    When people are removing wings.how do you sew them back?like on a standing goose or turkey.

    I don't sew them! I just pin them in place that doesn't show

    I use caulk and pins to bring the skin together. The seam isn't seen even on flying mounts.

    My buddy , a fellow taxidermist had told me that he changed wings out on dux all the time and I was like .. your full of it … He says why not , you take wings off the turkey before you mount it and put them on successfully, why not a duck Same process… I just recently figured out how to do Turkey wings and I’m still not to confident that I like doing it but will continue due to how much easier it makes mounting a Turkey .. I guess someday I’ll give the ducks or geese a shot at changing out wings … my buddy always says … We’re Taxidermists “We can figure it out “
