    Hi All,

We need, for our research, any primates and exotic carnivores that are available for dissection (i.e., raw/frozen) that are in the USA already and legal to buy/sell - nothing endangered, protected or from abroad.

Although we are primarily interested in dissection specimens, we would consider skulls and skeletons too.

    Thanks!

    Hi All,

I should note that we have some grant funding, which means that I can pay good money for legal specimens!

If you have something that you aren't really LOOKING to sell, but might consider it for some pretty high number, please let me know!

So many of you have specimens in the freezer that you MAY get back to one day. Wouldn't you rather have some good cash for them? Throw out a silly number. It might be in our budget! :)

*Might* be starting to consider selling a few things. Might as in it's a hard decision right now. Not sure any would be of interest. One is a horribly rare tiger/lion hybrid. Ti-ti-liger. Fertile liger bred to a tiger and then that offspring bred to a tiger again. Probably as close to a tiger as you could get without it being one. Have pictures of the live critter somewhere and documents. Also a BIG West coastal sea lion w/documents. A drill (not mandrill) and some other monkeys/apes. Other odd things too. Some came from a very old and dirty collection that I salvaged and cleaned up. When I cleaned the skulls, the writing came off that identified them as to species and sex. Some I had made notes on and know what they are but not all. Not sure they hybrid would be of interest to you or the school though.

Well I'm interested in all of that, and you know it would be going to a good home - we use this material for more than a dozen publications a year - most of which are led by my students. Maybe we should email (AdamHRose@ncsu.edu) or talk on the phone?

    Hi All,

I'm still looking for these. I will pay top dollar for whole frozen specimens. Please let me know if you have any!
