    SOLD

Just picked up two male spotted skunks. Dorsal skinned, fully fleshed, facial prep work done, feet skinned to nails and all perfect. Salted. One has very bright white markings but has a few cuts that will be easy fixes. The other has one little fleshing ding but has a bit of yellow in the markings. $75/each, DELIVERED

I thought u were not allowed to kill these as they are close to be on the endangered list. This was a new “law” this year.

  3. As of now there are still a number of states that either allow them to be harvested year round or by season. Some other states have changed their status to no legal hunting/trapping but places like Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Colorado, NC, ND, etc still allow it

  4. I had to check recently before I bought one.

since this was illegally bumped to the top already, I will have my say. #1 read the rules at top of forum, #2 myob, #3 if newhouse is selling anything, it is legal

For every bodies information, spotted skunks are totally unprotected in Oregon, no closed season, no harvest limit. We have a stack of them!!!!

Thanks for the information. I was told if I caught them in MS/AR I had to let them go. I am glad there are still a lot of them out there. I think they are so cool. Thanks again for the clarification!

Why would u say something like that! First of all, I don’t know everyone on here but familiar names. I am a trapper and was told I needed to release them. We do not have them in my home state. So I do not know their numbers. In should have realized if it is posted on here it would be legal. Just questioning as I was told to release them. I am grateful there are large numbers of them somewhere. They are beautiful as all Gods creatures are! So if I am using this site also, I am not as u say I am.

You are confusing the eastern spotted skunk Spilogale putorius (IUCN listed as vulnerable) and the western spotted skunk S. gracilis (IUCN least concern).
