Thoughts On Turkey Fan Holder For Individual Feathers

I am trying to think of a way to make a display from the tail feathers of multiple birds. Basically, I would like to be able to keep adding a single feather from a bird and eventually have a collage of tail feathers making up a single fan. I have seen products like the holder below for decoy fans, but no one seems to be currently making one that I can find. Any thoughts on how I could achieve this either with a product or through some other creative means?

    Thanks!

That does seem glaringly obvious now. May have to try a few different densities to see what works best. Would also allow me to rearrange as I add feathers to make it more uniform.

I’ve had and done tail fans that the base was freezer burnt so bad I had to cut out each tail feather, cleaned the quills ends then just laid them out on the table in the fan and adjusting as needed . I lay a level or 2x4 pcs on top , I then cut a pcs of paper plate in a 1/2 moon shape the size of the quill area , slide it under and the mix and pour 5 min epoxy on the quills. 5 mins later your fan is done . You can do the same with each line of feathers as you want or need . Looks great and you can’t tell

Take a half circle of wood 3/4" thick. Drill 18 holes in it at the appropriate angle

My wife has a Thanksgiving decoration where the turkeys fan is lollipops! Made exactly as you describe!
