Good day everyone. I have recently started to clean skulls for euro mounts and have experimented with Maceration. I have problems with some of the skulls falling apart after just a few days. What do I do wrong? Do you have any suggestions?

If you are dealing with the skulls of subadults and the sutures have not fused this will happen with maceration. If that is the case the best solution is to use bugs.

How are you macerating? Adult skulls should not fall apart. Jaws will separate, nasal bones will detach from deer/sheep but those are easy fixes.
