Should We Have A Political Category. Vote

Simplest of solutions ,. Just change the name of the website from Taxidermy to political. No one looking online for Taxidermy help, ideas, remedy, refresher,etc. Won't be bothered with the future presidents grooming their political policies platform here.
Btw it wasn't said to get rid of CE by anyone , Just create a new category for political post.
I hold the #1 post out of all of Taxi Net on guess what, current events. So no I don't want it to disappear either..
That doesn't mean I don't see a sinking ship. Ron B has been the only one that's gotten it right. {Something has to be done! to it in some form}, to save it.
You can not conduct business the same old way or use the same old outdated methods of Taxidermy past. Stay current or the new and improved will take over you.
I like vinyl records, land line phones, tube tv, 3 wheelers, Bonanza steak house, sears, Montgomery wards, and small women. All yesterdays history stuff. I'm the first to say new and improved ain't always better. The younger kids think that it is, and they are the future. So us old men or left reminiscing about how good it use too be. Oh well the only smart intelligent post in this and all of current events. Is Ken Edwards he laughing all the way to the bank without ever posting a SINGLE word.

 

Correction. It says not "directly related to taxidermy".

 

It blows me away that there are 18 categories that are ONLY taxidermy related and one category that is not, is blamed for all that is bad on Taxidermy Net. If clicks are needed to stay afloat, quit complaining and start posting. Post on Gameheads OFTEN. Same with Birds and Mammals, Fish and Reptiles. Get the posts on the tanning section up from one or two short posts every other week to three or four per day. That's how you save taxidermy.net. buckfever, how many posts to how many sections do you regularly post on?

The I don't go on Taxidermy.net any more because they have one out of nineteen categories that isn't about taxidermy and therefor Taxidermy.net is dying because it is ALL politics doesn't hold water for me. The reason it is "all politics" is because only a few people are willing to post on the taxidermy categories.

 

I use to be here ever evening 7 days a week. I still have the number 1 post with the most replies. I ventured away because of mainly the drama that was here. Two years in a row I'm at 300 deer heads , I don't have the time and just to tired for an evening of bs here.
Political posts was maybe a third reason. I've posted plenty Taxidermy post with pics. Those post are useless after one of the changes ken installed.
You seem to think I'm a newbie or at most just read and never contribute. You hinted at that with the ? You asked me. No matter you would be correct as of lately .
With all due respect Your opinion here is like everyones opinions on political post. Just opinions!! and It doesn't mean chit. No body has ever changed anyone else mind on trump or Brandon. And never will. For the record and political whatever, I wouldn't stop to piss on Brandon if he was on fire beside the road.
I believe i've been here longer than you , I know how many has departed again and why, mainly the drama.
You want to preach post more Taxidermy post, your right but the reason most stopped was The dam drama that occured with a lot of them.
Too many jack asses had to put down , that want work, start name calling ,etc. Who in the hell wants to open the door to that. And it was normal the same few jackasses.
The ones that think there way is the only way.
Again your intitlled to you opinion as I am. You see I can admit I could be 100% wrong I can also see you think there is no way in hell that I might be right .
Personal I could care less what they do with CE. Its dam sure not worth a argument over.

 

I know you are no noobie and I should have said how many do you reply to lately. Truthfully, if they got rid of the Current Events, that would be great for me. I would visit Taxidermy.net once a week to check out the bird and game Head sections and save a lot of time during the week that I would be on here. It just rubs me wrong when people state that Taxidermy.net has become a political site and those ones rarely post on any of the 18 taxidermy categories.

 

Tanglewood , there is nothing more I would like to do than call out a few names that drove away people from here in groves. But I want , most of us know who it was , four maybe 5 guys are responsible for it all. Some of them thought their chit didn't stink. One thought if it wasn't wrote in a book it's wrong. Ones head wouldn't fit through a 4 foot wide door. One thinks we should kiss his ass to be in his presence. Another spent all his time trying to convince you how wealthy he was. I notice ever one of them hasn't been logged in a long time.
Maybe there is a chance for the site for a comeback. .
Still somehow some way there has to be a way to reach out to those that left.
I still think the same ole, same ole isn't going to getter done.
If ken was as passionate about it as you are. I could see new improved, site coming real soon.

 

Fakebook killed a lot of it. Then all the Taxi chicks grew up or moved on. I miss the days when Amy would post pics and tutorials and Nina with her projects and art. Mikey P was yes loved by many, hated by some but man the guy could put asses in the seats. The Old Terrys and Glen Conleys died off. It is what it is. I used to run a beauty contest and the taxi chicks would all compete by posting pics of themselves. What that had to do with putting skin on a mannikin I will ever know. We had a good time. That's all. There are so many names of people that I had good times with on here. Too many to mention. Lazerred....there was another.

 

You forgot or ole buddy from Texas that passed on one night. Shock to us all

 

You see....when things get snarky the clicks start coming!

 

This and the "Frustration with McKenzie's" (which I had to bite my tongue to stay out of) are the only threads with 2 pages in the taxidermy industry section!

Anyway, what do you guys think of a "Only fans" taxidermy section? That would save the site, and Buck and Liverbucks would be on here 24-7 just clicking away!

 

Sometimes for old times sake I go back and read the old stuff and when I see some of Donnie's post it sorta chokes me up!

 

From bigfoot, to raising your prices, Dp vs tanning, and politics, that just can't be over stated!!!

You forgot BONDO

 

I am certain that I was going to have Donnie at my place and maybe do a little hunting together. It was falling into place because he would come to my area with his job and we started talking about meeting up. Then boom he was gone. He was a good guy. Damn.

 

Yeah that bullshit about Bondo being dangerous has always pissed me off. It is such a critical part of the taxidermy industry. I have been mixing bondo everyday for forty years, and neither me nor that big purple dancing bear that lives in my desk have shown any signs of brain damage! However, I am noticing that when I have my gas heater on and the open flames cook off the bondo fumes he does tend to get rather sexually aggressive!

 

Oh I know it does no harm it's great on a ham sandwich . Don't even taste it actually.

 

I caught on real quick that when I mixed Bondo in the garage my wife would stay at her parents for the night for some strange reason. Maybe she was afraid of the effects.

 

She should never leave you alone with the big purple dancing bear...trust me!
