Shed deer nice thing is they actually dispatched it two years ago and I had the pleasure to mount that one

First time I’ve ever had the chance to work on a deer from Kansas. Nice break from Texas bucks.

Little Oct , MI buck . Lots of ceder stain at the bases .

 

Finished this nice Missouri buck. Hunters first bow kill!!

 

Pair of South Texas deer. The bottom one I mounted last year and the top this year. I bored a 1 inch hole 10 inch deep in the back of the bottom buck and bondo’d a 1 inch square aluminum tube in it. The top was a standard 6900 wall form. Installed a tube in the bottom of it and added a inch or two of foam on the back. I tucked the hide in a slot and covered the back in black leather, as the bottom one. A 18 inch piece of aluminum angle is used to plug them together.
