sharptail pics

  5. if you look real close you can see the horizan across the eye and the bright spot is the sun and the blind to the left of the sun...
    also i have never noticed eyelids this full in the fall????

    Those are AWESOME!!!

    (Do you have any that show a good view of the skin texture on the air sacs?)
     
  7. i resized these and added some contrast to somewhat see the skin?

    every time i post a pic on here i get a error and get unhooked from the internet..
    anybody else have that problem?

    Those are the best sharptail photos that I have seen so far. (After over 30 years of collecting reference material!)
    For some reason those air sacs always look washed out in photos, and the real birds are dead and shrunken by the time I see them.
    I always wondered exactly what they are supposed to look like when the birds are alive.

    Those are the best refrence pic I have seen!!!! Are you seeing any sage grouse ? They are booming like crazy here.
