1st blk bear please give your opinion

    this is my first blk bear and my first mount for anything bigger than a squirrel. please give you opinion

    Post one when it is dry and finished. I see something white protruding from its nostrils and I don't think that should be there. Plus he looks like he found grandma's pin cushion and was using it for a chew toy.

    Eyes and ears look good though.

    yea i know it look a little comical right now . i was wondering if any one saw any major atomical mistakes so that i could fix them while it was still wet.

    would you believe that i shot off his head and the rest of his body ran off.... no??...did not think you would. actually my friend owns tannery and we had a guy come in with a blk bear. he wanted a rug tanned( not mounted). however Mr. Cheapskate the tightwad did not want to pay the extra $30 to have the head tanned on the skin so we cut off the head w/ the neck skin and i got a free hide to practice on.the cape was just barely long enough to fit into a rug shell i had about 1/2" left over. that was a lucky geuss when i cut it.
