Good Hog Reference!

    I have some great reference of hogs being hand fed ginger snaps. Got to figure a way to work that into a mount.

    It doesn't show any ginger snaps. :) It does show some huge hogs charging, some up close dogs baying hogs and one charge from 50 feet to within 5 feet of the rifleman before being shot. It didn't show much bloody gore either, just dogs baying hogs. I just thought it was pretty cool. 8)

    Ginger Snaps! hahaha Now that's funny! :) Who was it on here a while back that mounted a hog that had an ear mangled by dogs? Wasn't it Michael P? I remember it looked as real as it gets...whoever did it. 8)

    That was Mike p & he did a great job. Mount many hogs & sooner or later you will doing the same.

    Yeah, it had the bloody ear on it and everything. Quite common when hunting hogs with dogs.

    Does anyone remember what the post with Michael P's hog was called? I've searched and searched and can't find it.

    That thing looks real! That's what some sho nuf good reference will do for you and this video has it! 8)

    I'm fixing to mount a big boar and the guy wanted it positioned like it was just fixing to charge his dogs cause that's how it was just before he shot it. He's wanting some water habitat because it was standing in the edge of a creek. I told him whatever he wanted and told him it would cost more $$$. That video has a good reference of two dogs baying a hog in a creek just like he wanted. The hog charges 3-4 times before being shot. It shows good ear positioning and how much the mouth should be opened. Good reference video.

    I got a picture of a hog eating ginger snaps too! ::) And give me a big glass of cold milk and a bag of ginger snaps, and I turn into a hog myself. ;D
