My local auto supply stores only sell the red hardener.  I ask them if they would consider stocking different colors. Any idea where I might be able to by the white hardener other than the auto supplies?  I buy the store out everytime I go too.  They only have 3 to 4 tubes on display.  I would like to buy in bulk.  I tried online with no luck.

    Thanks, JTM

WASCO sells the large tubes of white hardener, item number DB53.

    Thanks Joe.

I guess shipping costs are inevitable.

I believe the clear tube of hardener that comes with the polyestor resin is the same stuff. But in liquid form. If you have some, test it with a little bondo and see if it sets up just to confirm things...

Lowe's has it? That would be great! I use a ton of the white. I used to pick it up at Home Depot which is just down the street. Then, for whatever reason, they stopped carrying it so I have been getting it from WASCO and paying shipping. It is so much easier to hide the Bondo seams and other work with primer when it's light gray rather than red.

Becky P One must believe the glass is half full.

Our Car Quest paint store carries it here. I think they are the only automotive store that does. But if you have an auto paint supply store near, they probably carry it.

Yes, By all Means go buy as much as you can at Lowe's, Or Kmart, Maybe when Ken finds it no longer profitable to bear the expense of maintaining this site. one of them will take it over. so you can continue to come here and find where to save 50 cents

Do you know that the white hardener will not make the bondo white. It will be the same color as the bondo right out of the can.

Oh C'mon Tenbears!!! I suspect WASCO provides these types of locally available materials as a convenience to their customers. I suspect they are not making much money off of these types of materials at all. And many of these products are DOUBLE the cost through the suppliers, not only a 50 cent difference...
