I personally like the wet look my self. I have done one with the drier look and I went right back to making them look wet again on the next mount.

Did you use ear liners or bondo?
I did my first mount almost a year ago. Still have so much to learn but having a great time learning. Done 5 deer shoulders and 1 bear so far.
Looking good! Some fluffing and just keep adjusting as it dries and your on your way to a good looking mount.
