Has anybody every tried preserving velvet antlers by submersing them in krowtann. After 3 days then pull them out, neutralize and hang to dry....
It makes a cool mount, but to me it almost looks like he is swimming

This clay seems to be very close to critter clay. I use it for sculpting eyes.
Tanning, I don't personally have a problem with Dp. I just don't like the results that I get. Some taxidermist seem to do a better job with it....
I like to card the stitch, it will help with any pulling and train the hair to lay down that is giving you problems.
