    Is it a better bet to use a less concentrated peroxide over time as a whitenning technique as far as longevity in a mount? Thank`s in advance!

    Peroxide damages the bone, Any oxidizer will do that , so you need to find a happy medium between being whitened to your satisfaction, being completed in a timely manner, and longevity in the hands of the owner. It all depends on the bone you are doing, age of the animal, temperature of your peroxide, whether or not your peroxide is still as strong as you think it is (it breaks down fairly quickly when warm) and a few other factors that we are still measuring. You just need to experiment and see what works best in your situation.
