I recentley had a customer bring in a picture of a 36 inch channel cat to do for a repo mount. I was lookink at 4 or 5 different manifactures of blanks of this fish, but the price of them was just out of my range. What do you think of Archies blanks? Are they good enough quality for the price that he charges? How about star fish repos?

the least quality you can find....

  3. Most all of the starfish repros I have used have been fine, Archies leave a lot to be desired.

Starfish also will set them up for you ready to paint, scaled seams, the works. A much more profitable use of your time spent painting rather than grinding fiberglass.

How can those two sentences possibly go together.....You should raise your prices ....sorry I just couldn't help it..

Given the choices I would go with starfish

Not always.I 've used both Archie's and Star's channel cat repros .These repros were for a 22" fish and I must say Archie's was much better. They required much less work to get paint ready.
