I am just wondering where to make the incision on the doe when I cape her out. What I mean is, I know about the incision by the bucks antlers but do I have to make the same one on a doe. Like a Y. I would think there has to be some kind of incision in order to pack the clay for the ear butts. Any help would be appreciated.

  2. A straight cut is easier sewing,(Dont carry it Too far forward.)

Just use a straight cut. No antlers so you don't have to use the Y.

So should I start it a couple inches down from the ears? Make like a 8" cut? That should do it right? Thank you both!!

Yes, but 6" might work. The shorter the cut, the less sewing you have to do.
