I stopped by my local Dick Blick for some Por-A-Mold Thixotropic which I wanted to try for a mouth plug. I used the regular Por-A-Mold for another mouth plug a while back with good results, but I wanted to try the thicker stuff this time. I've used this stuff on other molding projects, and IMHO it works as well or better than bondo (albeit pricey), and sets up quicker than the RTVs. A regular priced $40.00 dollar 2 quart kit was $11.57. All the Por-A-Mold kits were marked down to that price. I bought 3 of the 5 kits they had left. The clerk told me they were discontinuing the product line, but it would be replaced by something of a similar nature. If you have one near you, might be worth a look. Your mileage may vary.
