This is her first fish, a solid 8#. the smile is worth all the tangles that preceded it.

 

Here is a 6# 21 inch LMB Caught last night at Lake Kissimmee on a Junebug 6" trick texas rig.

 

At Sebastian Inlet north of Vero Beach, FL. This was my first Jack and it fought like the 40" Snook we caught. Some seriously fun fight! We also landed 3 reds between 26 and 30 inches, a 40" snook that was too big to keep so we kissed and released.

 

10#, 24" LMB caught near Lake Walk in Water, FL. This one became my first trophy skin mount.

 

Nice fish. I love Kissimmee. Flippin'and Froggin' in the pads is my type of fishing.

Yeah living just 15 minutes away is quite nice. Just this year we have released two 7.5#, the 6#, and over twenty between the 4.5 and 5.5# range. That is incredible seeing the water temp in Kissimmee most of the summer has been 84° or more.

Last night my wife hooked into a 60" Florida longnose gar. She handed me her rod to bring it in. I have to work on the photos because it was 8 PM and they are very dark. She also reeled in an 18# Channel cat on a shiner we netted. Yes, a SHINER! Both at the lock at Kissimmee.
