First off Merry Christmas and thanks to everyone who answered my last post on this.

1 lb of salt per gallon of water. All I have here currently to add without ordering anything is Kemol 4 and bactericide.

Any help is appreciated and Thanks in advance.

Add the bactericide per instructions, add 4oz salt and 1/2oz of the Kemol 4 to each gallon of water. That should get the trick done in a hurry!

I was always told to rehydrate a dry salted cape you needed a heavy brine solution of 2 pounds of salt to one gallon of water and to rehydrate a dry tanned cape you would use the 1/4 pound of salt to one gallon of water mix, and then to let it sweat over night bagged up and in the refrigerator.
