    Dave, as always your work and art inspires me. You are the number1 guy for those steelheads. Fantastic. Thats all I can say. You are a scary gifted guy.

    Great work this week to all. I have a nice reproduction rainbow in the works. It should be at my door on monday. Looking foreward to seeing if I remember how to paint a fish.

    Martin it looks like Rick showed you some killer tricks on all of your fish. They look amazing. Rick you've come through again. I love to what you teach each and every week.

    Travis, I don't think I can do them in my sleep yet - the evidence is that I was still recently working on fish from 2003/2004 - LOL.

  9. Here's a customer bass I recently finished. Arp DALMB 53. This customer gave me a ton of pics of this fish because he son released it back to the pond. It had several characteristics that I added to the repro to try to really recreate his fish. The spiny dorsal was actually missing a spine in the middle, it had a decent notch in the caudle fin and some really yellow plates on the head.

    This fish also got a custom made eye using Josh's method.

    holy moley Travis Nice Bass!
    That 4 day weekend last week was a blessing. i was able to paint 3 fish. Just glossed, here is an 37" Opah and 56" King Mackerel( Archie Phillips blanks)
    The opah is heading to a museum in Italy this week .

    Travis, are you sure Cole didn't mount that LMB for you? LOL That is SAWEEET ! I love the soft tones (just like Cole's LMB).

    Travis, that Largemouth is soft enough to pet! It's a beauty, and the mods that you did to it are totally tits.

    mk, very cool little Pike skin mount! Wow, what a gut on it - that's what I'd look like if I was a Pike.

    Dave, thanks on the compliments. :). first time i worked on a pike that small it was funny looking with a big gut on it, fun job.
